CLEAN EATING BY IGLOO BOOKS
Happy Saturday all.
Today I am starting a new feature for our blog titled, “Resource Saturday.” I will share a find with you, review a book or discuss an article that I think is interesting. I am a researcher by heart and this is the kind of thing that I love to do – research, read and collect my favorite topics. And diet, clean eating and cook books are high on my list of research favorites.
If you are new to clean eating let me encourage you to get CLEAN EATING published by Igloo Books. This is a treasure that I found while digging around in my local Half Price Book Store.
It is not a long book and it’s lead section on going clean is short and succinct. The pictures in the book are beautiful. The recipes are easy to follow and each one has a full color picture. I personally don’t like recipes that I don’t know what it is supposed to look like when I get finished. 🙂
I feel like this book was written by a Brit. There are terms that we don’t use and other names for some of the ingredients that are different from what we are used to. For instance, what we call snow peas, the book calls mangetout (yes, I Googled it). When we would say to pit a fruit like peaches, avocados or dates, they say seed it.
Actually, this book was a joy to find and read. It makes going clean very easy and that, after all, is what makes change easier to do – by taking baby steps. 🙂
Have a great weekend everybody.
Bye for now,
Debbie
