I absolutely love this. I can put it on bread for my husband or rice. For me I can put it on a fresh cabbage coleslaw or a piece of apple or in some lettuce to make a wrap. It is wonderful with a fried egg on top as well. I love this stuff! Absolutely amazing!
Ingredients:
3 to 5 lbs pork roast
Salt and pepper to season outside of pork roast
1/3 cup liquid smoke
1/3 cup Teriyaki Sause
1/3 cup honey
3/4 cup water
1/2 cabbage shredded
2 cups of julienned carrots
1 med size white onion cut into small slices
Directions:
1. Salt and pepper outside of pork generously. Place pork roast in crock pot.
2. Pour in other ingredients (not veggies) and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
3. About an hour before pork roast is done, add shredded cabbage and carrots and onion. Stir around breaking up roast and cook the remain hour.
4. Serve on bread, on rice, or on a nice fresh cabbage slaw (that’s what I did).
